Explore the ROM’s Samuel European Galleries and experience a hands-on lab to understand what life was like for Shakespeare and his contemporaries.  Reflect on several critical issues for understanding his plays such as the role of religion and gender in Shakespearean England.  Bring Shakespeare to life for your students by giving them the opportunity to handle real Renaissance artefacts!  In the course of this program, students may also visit the following galleries:  Wirth Gallery of the Middle East, Shreyas and Mina Ajmera Gallery of Africa, The Americas, and Asia-Pacific and Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Gallery of China.

This lesson is a Combined program (Tour & Lab).  We also offer the same lesson as a Guided Tour.
