Images of World Religions

Statues, paintings and ritual objects are essential parts of many religions. Explore the ROM's collection of religious artifacts. Learn the vocabulary of forms and gestures that will enable you to decode sacred images from ancient and modern religions. Teachers may choose among artifacts from Buddhist, Daoism, Christian, Jewish and Native Canadian traditions.
