Explore the ROM’s Samuel European Galleries to understand what life was like for Shakespeare and his contemporaries.  Reflect on several critical issues for understanding his plays such as the role of religion and gender in Shakespearean England.  In the course of this program, students may also visit the following galleries:  Wirth Gallery of the Middle East, Shreyas and Mina Ajmera Gallery of Africa, The Americas, and Asia-Pacific and Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Gallery of China.
