Examine and classify real specimens and discover how vertebrate animals have adapted to a variety of habitats and assess human impacts on vertebrate biodiversity. 

Curriculum links: assess human impacts on biodiversity, and identify ways of preserving biodiversity; investigate the characteristics of living things, and classify diverse organisms according to specific characteristics; demonstrate an understanding of biodiversity, its contributions to the stability of natural systems, and its benefits to humans.

Do not combine with the topic Biodiversity or Prehistoric Biodiversity due to similar content.
