Go to the ROM without leaving your school! The Contact North web conferencing platform makes anything possible …

Through the ROM’s Virtual Visit program, your class will have an hour-long live interactive lesson with a Museum teacher via web conference at your school. The lesson consists of a slide presentation. Video of the ROM teacher may also be possible if the internet connection is strong enough. For technical assistance, call Contact North's technical hot line at 1-888-850-4628. Any one of their technicians will be happy to assist. Featuring objects from our collections, each lesson draws on the same curriculum-rich content as our on-site programs.

Find out the amazing detective work we do with star light and the instruments we devised for it. Unearth the mystery on how the dinosaur’s habitat was wiped away and learn what do rocks from space tell us about it.

10:00 to 11:00 or 1:00 to 2:00
Please apply at least 2 weeks in advance.

Availability subject to change.

Book a ROM Edukit to support your virtual visit! ROM Edukits contain real artifacts and objects for your students to touch and explore. A teacher's guide and student activities are provided. For details see Travelling Education Kits.
