Peoples of Central and South America

Peoples of Central and South America

The ROM's collection of Central and South America encompasses many indigenous cultures including the Maya, the Kayapo, the Chimu-Inca and others. This lesson offers an exploration of cultural artifacts and the natural environments in which these people live. In the lab, students examine artifacts to learn about different aspects of life of these cultures, especially the Maya.
