What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS), an XML-based format for content distribution, allows you to stay up-to-date with what's new on the ROM website, including the latest news and program information. An RSS channel, feed or stream consists of a list of related news items that is updated regularly. Each item includes a title and link that leads the user to the full news article. It may also include photos and some lead-in or summary text. Since the user selects which feeds he or she would like to read, they will only receive content that is of interest to them.
What do I need to be able to read an RSS Feed?
To be able to read an RSS feed, you will need an RSS newsreader or aggregator. There are many different RSS readers that can be downloaded for free from the internet. Google maintains a list of the most popular readers. After you have installed the newsreader of your choice on your computer, you can then subscribe to one or more RSS feeds. To subscribe to a ROM RSS feed, click one of the RSS icons below. A pop-up will appear with a highlighted URL. Copy the URL and paste it into your RSS reader under "subscribe" or "add". Repeat this process for each ROM RSS feed of interest.
