ROMbus: A Musical Muskoka Boat Cruise

Our day begins with a visit to the interesting Muskoka Boat and Heritage Centre. We then board the Wenonah 11 for an enjoyable lunch cruise of Muskoka Lake with accompanying sing-along entertainment. A tour of Bethune Memorial House, birthplace of Dr. Norman Bethune, will follow. A drive-by Port Carling to view the locks will end our day.

ROMbus: Raymond Moriyama: Second Architectural Tour

The architectural tour featuring the work of Raymond Moriyama was so successful last year, a repeat trip is planned for September, 2012 . We will have a number of star performers. Corey Keeble will give an overview of Mr. Moriyama’s work. Mrs. Bata and Mr. Moriyama will reflect on their experiences during the construction of the Bata Shoe Museum. We will enjoy a tour of the BMO Financial Group Institute for Learning and share Mr. Moriyama's experiences working with Matthew Barrett, former Chairman and CEO of the Bank of Montreal. Once again we will enjoy a buffet bankers' lunch.

Into the Arctic

ROMtravel is pleased to offer our exciting fourth Arctic travel season in collaboration with Adventure Canada.

There will be two sailings in 2013 on the 118 passenger luxurious expedition vessel, the Clipper Adventurer.

The first, our Arctic Explorer voyage, will sail from July 27 to August 6, and a longer sailing, Into the Northwest Passage, from August 6 to August 20.

The ROM’s Ken Lister will accompany the Arctic Explorer trip, and both trips will feature many outstanding experts.
