DOORS OPEN TORONTO OFFICIAL LAUNCH EVENT
Mayor David Miller helps us kick off the 10th anniversary of Doors Open Toronto at the ROM. The free celebrations, beginning at 4:30 p.m., will include Middle Eastern music by Maza Meze, Lit City readings and a panel with authors Dionne Brand, Barry Callaghan, Amy Lavender Harris and Paul Quarrington (6:30 p.m.), The Bold Museum featuring Kelvin Browne and Kenton Vaughan at 7:00 p.m. and a concert by Porkbelly Futures (8 p.m.). Attendees can test their Toronto literary knowledge for a chance to win great prizes from Open Book Toronto throughout the evening.
Admission to the ROM will be free from 4:30pm to 9:30pm and all museum galleries will be open.
