Out of the Vaults: Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead
February 28 to May 10
Journey to the afterlife through the mystical Book of the Dead of Amen-em-hat.
Books of the Dead are funerary manuscripts created by Ancient Egyptians during their lifetime, containing instructions to help the deceased in the afterlife. Learn about the haunting "weighing of the heart" judgment ceremony, the mysterious gods Amen-em-hat would meet, and the magic spells that would keep his soul safe as he journeyed through the Underworld.
A rare opportunity to see one of the most significant Books of the Dead anywhere in the world. Out of the vaults for a limited time.
March Break Family Activities
The ROM is has a ton of fun March Break activities, performances and hands-on learning all week long. March Break activities are included with admission.
