March Break Camp
School is out! Adventure anyone? Enjoy the school break at the ROM and discover hidden treasures and natural wonders.
Children aged 5-14 can join the ROM's dynamic instructors for exciting hands-on activities in our galleries, studio and classroom labs. Choose from morning and afternoon courses.
Limited spaces available.
Children attending camp for the full day (AM & PM) will have a supervised lunch break from noon to 1 pm.

| Monday, March 15 - Friday, March 19, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm Gather ‘round and we’ll tell you a tale of a time when animals could talk. We’ll meet animal tricksters like Raven or Anansi, see a tale that’s four stories tall, learn why bats come out at night, and make our own mythical animals to guide us through our day. The ROM’s galleries bring us around the world as we listen to stories of amazing animals before spinning some fanciful tales of our own. More Information | |

Discover the history and mythology behind Dungeons & Dragons and other popular role-playing games. Learn the basics of storytelling, examine arms and armour, and explore the landscapes that your characters will traverse. Using the ROM’s galleries, see what different cultures around the world valued about themselves and how they used art to convey their values. Draw out clues that tell you about the artist as much as about the subject, and see how an audience can influence the meaning of art. Then use what you’ve learned to tell your own visual story.
