The ICC presents two exciting films on the subject of street art.
Each will begin at 7pm.

Tickets available at the door: $10 general, $8 students & seniors, $6 Friends of ICC.

February 19, 2009: Next: A Primer on Urban Painting
Pablo Aravena, 2005, Canada, 95 min.
Combining verite visual moments and interviews with painters, journalists, collectors, sociologists, DJ’s, art critics and other participants within the subculture, the film will convey the dynamism and creative brilliance of this important emerging artistic movement.


February 26, 2009: Bomb it
Jon Reiss, 2007, USA, 93 min.
Tells the story of contemporary graffiti, tracing its roots in ancient rock paintings through Picasso to its place in hip-hop culture in 1970's New York City.


Location: Royal Ontario Museum, Level 1B 
Signy and Cléophée Eaton Theatre, Level 1B. Enter through Loblaws entrance at south end of building.
