Italian Rapier Fencing - NEW COURSE

Learn the basics of Italian rapier fencing, as taught by Ridolfo Capoferro . Training includes an extensive introduction to posture, movement, and the four guard positions, as well as the essential principles inherent to all fencing systems: timing (tempo), distance (misura), and constraining (stringere). Equipment requirements: comfortable loose fitting clothes (especially the pants), athletic shoes, and leather gloves. Practice rapiers will be provided for class use. | |
