Building Our Future Four new Natural History galleries will open in late 2008 / early 2009. These new galleries, along with the ROM’s ongoing research into our planet and solar system, endangered species and preservation of our natural heritage, will help visitors, students and the scientific community better understand our planet’s past in order to respond to the challenges of the future.
Teck Suite of Galleries: Earth's Treasures | Now Open
The Teck Suite of Galleries: Earth's Treasures is home to three new galleries including the Inco Limited Gallery of Minerals, the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame Gallery and the Gallery of Gold and Gems.

Schad Gallery of Biodiversity | Opening May 16, 2009
Drawing on the ROM’s extensive natural history collections, this new gallery will present the diversity of life on earth and the significant challenges to its conservation and survival. Located at the centre of this gallery will be the Earth Rangers Studio, a state-of-the-art space for digital and live programming on latest scientific research and relevant issues.
