From Printed Page to the Silver Screen
The Royal Ontario Museum, in partnership with the Ontario Media Development Corporation, presents From Printed Page to the Silver Screen, a weekend of film screenings adapted from literary works. This unique interdisciplinary event, presented in Theatre ROM from November 1 to 3, 2002, culminates in an "in conversation" with moderator and broadcaster Daniel Richler, on how your favourite books are adapted to film. His panelists include David Brown - Producer of Chocolat; Robert Schenkkan - Screenwriter of The Quiet American; Patricia Rozema - Director and Screenwriter of Mansfield Park; Christina Jennings - Producer of Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang and Author and Screenwriter Edward Riche of Rare Birds.
