Fish Spear

Fish would be attracted to an ivory lure "jigged" or moved up or down just below the surface of the water. When the fish were in range they were impaled using a spear with side-prongs that prevented the fish from sliding off the central spike. The fish were taken to camp staked onto the deck of the kayak.
