Books of the Dead are funerary manuscripts created by Ancient Egyptians during their lifetime, containing instructions to help the deceased in the afterlife. Learn about the haunting “weighing of the heart” judgment ceremony, the mysterious gods Amen-em-hat would meet, and the magic spells that would keep his soul safe as he journeyed through the Underworld. |
