Garfield Weston Exhibition Hall

Level B2, Michael Lee-Chin Crystal
With 5,181 sq. m. (17,000 sq. ft.) of floor space and 5-metre (17-feet) high ceilings, this expansive new gallery space will host all of the Museum’s major exhibitions, with the capability of housing different exhibitions simultaneously. Currently The Warrior Emperor and China's Terracotta Army is on display in the Weston Hall until January 2, 2011.

Originally created in 1986 through a generous donation from The W. Garfield Weston Foundation and George Weston Limited, the original Garfield Weston Exhibition Hall was the ROM's first major exhibition hall. The space allowed the Museum to mount its own large temporary exhibitions, as well as host travelling exhibitions and blockbusters from around the world. In recognition of the Weston Family's generous commitment and long-time friendship with the Museum, the ROM is honoured to carry forward the name of the Garfield Weston Exhibition Hall in its new location.
