The ROM is pleased to welcome Robert Pierce as the new Chair of the Board of Governors. As a long-time volunteer, Board member and supporter of the ROM, Robert has served in a leadership capacity on several philanthropic committees and initiatives including the Renaissance ROM Countdown to Completion Task Force, the Finance and Investment Committee, the Museum’s signature fundraising event Fact or Fiction and the Royal Patrons Circle (RPC) Committee. Over the past decade, Robert has led by example and has generously supported the ROM’s highest priorities and philanthropic projects.
Robert is excited about the Museum’s future and his new role with the Board of Governors. “When we talk about Canada, let’s talk about the ROM,” he says. “It has a great location, content, architecture and leadership. As we prepare for the ROM’s centennial year in 2014, now more than ever, the Museum deserves everyone’s attention and support.”
