William Thorsell muses on the aims of the new project for renewal.
2000 - 2010
This is the story of how a new curator, David Evans, found the amazing barosaurus, which we named Gordo (for the curator, Gord Edmund, who had received it in the 60's).
I volunteered for the Summer Club at the ROM in 2008. I had previously travelled there on numerous school field trips, and the Museum has always held a special place in my heart.
The crystal opens. 40, 000 people walk through empty space, which is then closed for the installation of galleries.
My best experience with the museum was when I was a tween on a school trip. The visit was all about super natural history like dinosaurs, precious minerals - you name it.
