Members’ Architectural Lecture

During the Architectural Preview Week (June 3 – 10) there was such an unprecedented interest in our architectural tours that we've decided to offer an exclusive Members’ lecture about the new architecture. Please join us to learn more about the context, background and future plans of the ROM.

Lecture Background:

The Lee-Chin Crystal is part of Renaissance ROM, the Museum's renovation and expansion project. Considered to be one of the most challenging construction projects in North America for its engineering complexity and innovative methods, the Lee-Chin Crystal is composed of five interlocking, self-supporting prismatic structures. The Lee-Chin Crystal creates modern, luminous and accessible interior spaces that house eight new galleries including Canada’s largest hall for international exhibitions, retail shops, restaurants, special event spaces and a graceful new entrance and lobby.
