The ROM is transforming itself and introducing new ways to share its treasures, knowledge and revelations with the public. It is building on its internationally respected collections, exhibitions, and research in an expanded role as a vital partner and trusted resource for its audiences. The ROM seeks to foster a life-long interest in nature and culture within its audiences and inspire them to experience and participate in its work. In this senior role, you will lead your team in bringing these new chapters to life as the collections and behind-the-scenes research become even more accessible and captivating.
In this V.P. role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the effective communication of the ROM’s truly unique content and story. You’ll address its multiple stakeholders and audiences via marketing and promotions, public relations, website, social media, publications and e-communication. An articulate ambassador, you will oversee relationships with key stakeholders through Membership and group sales activities. Assume responsibility for stewardship of the ROM brand and all of its applications, all communication, exhibitions, programs, community engagement, philanthropic events and campaigns.
A senior communications advisor and an engaged team manager well versed in marketing and all media, you have demonstrated your ability to think strategically and develop results oriented marketing and communications plans.
