Description
Study the great changes in society and technology that defined the twentieth century with an expert ROM teacher. Examine authentic, primary source material from the ROM's extensive collections: handle the machinery of war from two world conflicts; see evidence of social change during the Roaring 20s; feel the poverty of the Great Depression; and touch objects
that defined the Cold War and post-Centennial years in Canada.
Curriculum links: explore the local, national and global forces that have shaped Canada's national identity; investigate the challenges presented by economic, social, and technological changes; explore the contributions of individuals and groups to Canadian culture and society.
Maximum 60 people (including students, teachers, educational assistants and supervisors) at one time.
