Description
Explore the ROM’s galleries to examine statues, paintings and artifacts that embody ideas and beliefs. Students learn
a vocabulary of forms and gestures to enable them to decode sacred images. Teachers may choose from among
ancient religions, Native American spirituality, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism and Daoism. After April 2008,
classes will also be able to study Islam.
Maximum 105 people (including students, teachers, educational assistants and supervisors) at one time.
