Description
For more than 130 million years dinosaurs dominated the Earth. In this lesson highlighting the almost 400 specimens in our Age of Dinosaurs Gallery the students are introduced to dinosaurs such as our 28 metre long “long neck” Barosaurus and a mighty Tyrannosaurus rex, Compare the dinosaurs with modern living animals, some are like cows and other like wolves and discover the rich variety of animals which shared the world with the dinosaurs.
Curriculum links: observe and compare needs and physical characteristics of a variety of animals; investigate life cycles; investigate ways animals adapt to their environment
