Description
As an alternative to our physical anthropology program – or as an ideal complement – consider this brand new class. Explore social group formation and behaviour – including rites of passage and gender roles – as well as the effects of urbanization, industrialization and technology on groups.
Curriculum links include, but are not limited to: understanding of the social forces that influence and shape behaviour; describing some of the social institutions of at least three diverse cultures; understanding of the ways in which social institutions change over time.
Maximum 70 people (including students, teachers, educational assistants and supervisors) at one time
