Description
Visit ecosystems including the Western Atlantic, Great Lakes, and tropical rainforest and explore interactions within and between different species. Consequences of human population growth such as ocean acidification, climate change, and deforestation will be addressed.
Curriculum Links: explain concepts of interaction including competition, predation, and symbiosis; describe characteristics of a population such as growth, density, and minimum viable size; analyze the relationships between human population growth, personal consumption, and our ecological footprint.
