Description
Discovering relationships between time and space are a key part of understanding the Universe. In the Lab component students investigate the local solar neighbourhood of stars and the solar system. In the planetarium a wonderful night sky is shown to contain amazing objects and structures from exploding stars to galaxies.
Curriculum Links: observe direct observation and star charts to determine the location, appearance, and motion of well known stars and celestial objects; compare and contrast properties of celestial objects; describe major components of the solar system; describe observational and theoretical evidence relating to the origin of the universe
