Bio
Steven Laurie joined the ROM exhibition team as a contract preparator in 2007. From 2007 to 2009 he worked on a number of RenROM perminent galleries, blockbusters and temporary exhibitions. From 2009 to 2010, Steven left the ROM to persue collections management and art education programming experience at the Art Gallery of York University. In late 2010 he returned to the ROM as an Associate Project Manager, overseeing the planning, development and construction of assigned exhibits and projects. Projects managed include: El Anatsui, Observance and Memorial Photographs from S-21 Cambodia, Jorinde Voigt - Beethoven 32 Sonatas, Elegy, Mammals of Ontario (Outreach), Art of Collecting, Bollywood Cinema Showcards, and Embellished Realities: Indian Painted Photographs.
Steven Laurie recieved a Honors Diploma from the Ontario College or Art and Design University in 2001, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Western University (UWO) in 2005.
