Main Library & Archives
Monday-Friday: 10 am - 5:00 pm
The Main Library and the Museum Archives are located on Level 1 (main floor) of the Museum; access is through the ROM's main Michael Lee Chin Crystal entrance on Bloor Street. Obtain a special library pass, free-of-charge, at the Museum Concierge Desk and ask for direction there.
As a reference library, our collections do not circulate. To help us serve you better, please contact us one business day in advance for materials to be retrieved.

H.H. Mu Far Eastern Library
The H.H.Mu Far Eastern Library and its collections on Asia & Egypt are open to the public weekday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Enter through the ROM Staff Entrance on the south side of the ROM building.
Library materials from these collections also can be requested by e-mail, telephone or in person for use in the Sackler Reading Room of the Main Library & Archives. Please allow one business day for materials to arrive in the Main Library & Archives. Library materials as a rule do not circulate.
