Earth Weekend at the ROM
Earth Weekend is coming fast, and we couldn’t be more excited!
The Trees of the ROM
Of all the wonders of nature, a tree in summer is perhaps the most remarkable; with the possible exception of a moose singing “Embraceable You” in spats.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland
Here for ROM for the Holidays, it’s the long-awaited return of the Earth Rangers Studio Winter Wonderland in Life in Crisis: the Schad Gallery of Biodiversity!
Winter Visitors in Hands-on Biodiversity
It’s that time of year! ROM for the Holidays is finally here, and we’ve been hard at work in the Keenan Family Gallery of Hands-on Biodiversity (HOB for short) getting some new hands-on activities ready to go.
First up is the brand-new, never-before-seen touch table that we put together in honour of our lost baby bison.
The Bee Contest Winner Visits the ROM!
I love sharing the cool secrets of the ROM with visitors, so it really made my day when our Name the Queen Bee Contest winner Kaitlyn visited the ROM with her mom and her brother Kynan (who also happened to be our third place winner).
Bee Contest Winners!
On June 11 and 12, the Keenan Family Gallery of Hands-on Biodiversity hosted our Bee Appreciation Day. Visitors from far and wide swarmed to the gallery’s beehive to get the buzz on the new bee colony from our very own Queen Bee, Janine, the gallery’s beekeeper (and I promise I will stop making bee puns now).
