Our Cat Mummy goes on display

As the ROM’s Social Media Coordinator, 2013 was a turning point for social media at the museum. It was the first full year where we had someone dedicated to social media and on Facebook we more than doubled our engaged community. We focused this year on deploying a consistant posting schedule and letting our collections, exhibitions and programs do the talking for us. The highlights were T-Rex, the Cat Mummy, Mesopotamian trivia week and of course Friday Night Live. Let's have a look at our more popular posts from 2013.

Our top 5 PTAT (People talking about this) posts:

I want to thank all of you for making my job so fun and interesting this year and for continuing to interact with the museum on social. Find me on Twitter or get in touch via my staff page here. I love to talk social and welcome feedback and suggestions on anything and everything we do with social media at the museum.

Happy Holidays and all the best in 2014!
