Hi, when can we expect ticket details to come out? it's less than two weeks to the first ROMFNL so it's cutting things a little close maybe?
When do tickets go on sale? May 3rd is next week.

I am confused, if you purchase a ticket but arrive after 9pm you are not guarenteed to get in? I think that is the point to buying tickets, no?
Hi Tarja,
The doors open at 7 PM and close at 11 PM for FNL. To guarantee entry please arrive no later than 9.00 PM on the evening of the event with your ticket(s). The Museum has a maximum capacity and if it is reached you will be denied entry.
I can't wait!!! I went to the season finale last year, the art, the people, the food and the music! We danced till they kicked us out. Never had so much fun at a museum. Was so sad to wait a whole season, but now it's museum party time again!
I'm confused by the note for Members. We need tickets in addition to our membership to guarantee entry?
Friday Night Live entry is included with your ROM Membership benefits, as well as entry for Members' guests only on membership levels where guest privileges apply. An online reservation is required to guarantee entry before 9pm. If you arrive after 9 pm or just walk-up to enter at any time on the night, entry cannot be guaranteed and is subject to availability. The Museum has a maximum capacity and if it is reached you will be denied entry.
So where do I enter my membership info so I don't get charged when I reserve online??
Once you select Tickets and Info, there are two choices, one for Buy Tickets in red and one for Members Reserve Your Tickets in blue. Members Reserve Your Tickets will take you to the page to input your membership information. Please note, there are no advance tickets left for Friday May 3.
I keep getting an error message when trying to reserve member tickets. Hopefully this get resolved soon.

I was just wondering if our university student cards are enough for our purchase and use of student priced tickets... I mean, can we show student cards as proof and pay the student fee for tickets?

Is there a photo gallery from opening night? I noted a couple of photographers going around the floor and was wondering if the pictures will be posted.
I went to this party in 2012 and had an amazing time. The big negative was the line-up. Possibly the biggest catastrophe I have ever seen. There was no order in getting people through the door, the promoters had WAY oversold tickets to the event, and nobody knew what was happening.
Is this still the case or has it been resolved?

Glad to hear you had an amazing time! Tickets are available online and at the door. If you want to avoid the lines we suggest you buy tickets online and arrive prior to 9 PM. Proceed to the door and to Priority Access with your online tickets. Please don't stand in the "Tickets Need 'Em" line. If you arrive at the ROM before 7 PM go to the "Tickets Got 'Em" line. If the advance tickets are sold out, we have tickets available at the door on a first come first served basis. This line can be long and we strongly suggest that you arrive early for a better chance of getting in.

unfortunately we were really disappointed when we went. I did not see anywhere on the site that the ROM closes at 9pm and everyone has to return to the dance area. We felt we actually wasted our money since my partner and I both work late it seemed like a great way to see the exhibits together. We even paid extra to see the dinosaurs. We ended up only seeing the dinosaurs and the minerals room. What a bummer and a waste of money.
Hello Everyone, the galleries can be viewed from 7pm to 9:30pm during FNL. The bar and food stations close at 11pm.
