For Youth Ages 13 - 16
Get to know what’s great about Canada, from its diverse natural resources to its rich kaleidoscope of cultural traditions as you spend time making new friends in Canada’s largest museum. Using the ROM’s galleries and learning labs, experience the rich natural and cultural history of Canada, and the multicultural identity of Canadians. Practice your English in a fun and educational environment. Get engaged in your new city as you settle into life in Canada.
Day 1: An Introduction to Canada
Welcome to Canada! Join us as we explore what it means to be a Canadian. Learn about the rich history and diverse geography of this huge country. Make new friends, practice your English, and learn all about your new home.
Day 2: Toronto Tapestry
Discover Toronto’s tapestry of multiculturalism. Get to know your new neighbours as you explore some of the many cultures that make up the Canadian landscape today and through history. Explore ROM galleries to learn about the history of different civilizations, and learn about the backgrounds of the people in your new city.
