The Explorers usually spend Friday's napping, however they'll make a special Friday appearance this one day only!
Follow in the footsteps of famous and infamous explorers. Record an Egyptian expedition to the mysterious land of Punt, join Henry Hudson and his brave "Adventurers" as they search for the illusive Northwest Passage, or attempt to sail around the world with the famous "pirate" Francis Drake.
Delve into the world of high-tech laboratories and fascinating field research. Visit working labs, conduct your own scientific studies, and head outdoors on collecting expeditions.
Let your imagination loose as you join us on a new campaign in the ever-popular role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons. Learn about myths, monsters, and weapons from the actual cultures upon which the game is based.
Create mixed media masterpieces as you explore different techniques of hand building with clay. By combining paint, paper, plaster, and textiles with clay you’ll create funky and even useful objects d’art inspired by the ROM’s galleries.
Presented in collaboration with ROM Family Programs and AFCY
