Join Dr. Kevin Seymour, ROM Assistant Curator in Vertebrate Palaeontology, and David Rudkin, ROM Assistant Curator of Invertebrate Palaeontology in discovering ancient life in the exposed quarry cliff at the Evergreen Brick Works in the midst of Toronto. A brief history of the quarry at Don Valley Brick Works precedes a scenic hike deeper into the Moore Park Ravine to uncover the geology of this interesting corner of Toronto.
Evergreen Brick Works is accessible by car or TTC. There is a shuttle service between Broadview subway station and Evergreen Brick Works. The tour starts promptly at 1:15 pm in the Brick Works parking lot and will end at 3:00 pm.
Proceeds to support research in the Centre for Fossils and Evolution.
