Learn about the heroism of ordinary women, who contributed to the war effort and survived its indignities. Men fought the War of 1812, while women played their part in different ways. Join us for an insightful presentation about Laura Secord's life and her part in the War of 1812.   

Come and enjoy this enlightening presentation by David F. Hemmings, the author of the recently published Laura Ingersoll Secord- A Heroine and Her Family, followed by period refreshments.
