For ROM Members Only!
For one weekend only, ROM Members will receive free admission at the Gardiner Museum.
Enjoy the feature exhibition, Animal Stories, which explores the breadth and depth of the stories that have shaped human relationships with animals throughout the centuries. Spanning more than three hundred centuries of visual culture, Animal Stories presents ceramic objects alongside first edition children’s books and scientific illustrations.
In the Gardiner Museum’s Lobby, ROM Members will also have the chance to see the 2013 Artist Intervention Mono No Ma, for which acclaimed artist and architect An Te Liu is creating a new body of sculptures which explore the spaces around things. While mono is Japanese for ‘object’, ma is a more elusive term referring to ‘space’ or ‘gap’, but one which is simultaneously aware of form and non-form.
ROM Members must present valid ROM membership cards and identification at the Gardiner entrance to receive free admission.
