Dinosaurs aren’t just for the young! We’ll start with the basics (Pterodactyls aren’t dinosaurs?), and move on to dinosaur reproduction, anatomy, and behaviour. The break-up of Pangaea, the evolution of birds, and the possibility of cloning (Jurassic Park?!?) will also be covered. In celebration of the ROM’s Centennial, we’ll discuss the contributions of the Museum’s palaeontologists over the past century, and see how the ROM collects and mounts its dinosaurs. We’ll also make our own fossil casts and molds, and learn about the ROM’s newest dinosaur discoveries.
