The Royal Ontario Museum has an excellent collection of Canadian silver. Join experts Dr. Dorothea Burstyn, Richard Flensted and Philip Cheong for a short presentation that will introduce you to ROM’s treasures followed by a hands-on workshop in groups of 10 to 12 held by three Canadian silver experts. Participants will be shown and be able to handle examples of 19th and 20th century Canadian hollow-ware and flatware as well as modern Canadian studio silver. Participants are invited to bring their own silver items (not jewellery) for identification.
