ROM Offers Lego, Live Animals, and a Piece of

the Moon for March Break 2014

The Royal Ontario Museum is full of exciting March Break activities for the entire family including live animals, genuine space rocks, Lego centres, and much more. The ROM’s Passport to the World program invites kids to take a global adventure through the Museum, stamp their ROM Passports, and learn more about the world around them.

ROM March Break activities include:

·         Earth Rangers: Help welcome the return of the wildly popular Animal Ambassadors at the Wild Journey Earth Rangers show, taking place at 1:00 pm, 3:00pm, and 5:00pm each day.

·         Walk on the Moon: Leave Earth for space mission that includes standing on the actual piece of the moon from the ROM’s own Mineralogy Collection.

·         A Legoland Forbidden City: Inspired by the ROM’s newest exhibition kids can build their own Lego with help from the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre.

Plus, check out the Google 4 Doodle Canada contest winners and go inside the gates of the Forbidden City with the ROM’s new exhibit, Forbidden City: Inside the Court of China’s Emperors, presented by The Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation, and lead sponsor Manulife.
