Accessibility Initiatives at the ROM
The ROM has recently received a generous gift to support our new major accessibility initiatives. In addition to the tours listed below, we will provide virtual tours on our website for people who may not be comfortable visiting in person, and create print materials in Braille. These programs will allow audiences to experience the ROM in an entirely new way.

ASL Interpreted Tours

In a new partnership with George Brown College's School of Deaf and Deafblind Studies, the ROM is now providing American Sign Language-English interpretation of the Museum's highlights for those visitors who are deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing.

Explore Your Senses: Engage the World

Tactile Tours allow blind or visually impaired visitors to discover the Museum through meaningful interaction with the collections. Explore the Orient this month, and engage with real artifacts and scale reproductions from the Ming Tomb collection.

Enhance your exhibition experience and get a deeper understanding of the First Emperor and his terracotta army. Offered in English, French (F), Mandarin (M) and Cantonese (C). Tours are offered on all but a few days throughout the exhibition. Space is limited.
