About Us

Volunteers & Interns

The Department of Museum Volunteers (DMV) was founded in 1957 as the Members' Volunteer Committee, which then evolved into the present DMV.

The following policies, which were developed by the DMV and approved by its Board of Directors, set out the DMV's principles of governance, vision, mission, objectives and values. In addition, they define the expectations of membership, administrative practice and communications, as well as public programs and activities.
