How does our group check in?
All groups should enter via our new entrance located on Bloor Street West in the new Michael Lee-Chin Crystal.
If you already have your tickets for a self-guided visit you may simply enter the Museum at your own leisure. If you are picking up your tickets, please check-in at the Admissions Desk to retrieve your package. If you have arranged for a private-guided tour your docent will greet you at the entrance of the Lee-Chin Crystal at your selected tour time.
The Museum requires visitors to check all backpacks, large bags, and packages. The coat check will not accept laptop computers or luggage of any size. All bags are subject to search and inspection. Visitor bags are checked free of charge, and coats for $2 each. To avoid a lengthy wait in the coat check line, visitors should limit the items they bring to the Museum.
What if my group is running late for a scheduled private-guided tour?
If you think you will be late for your scheduled private-guided tour please call the Main Switchboard as soon as possible at 416.586.5549 and notify us of your new arrival time.
Please note that in order to accommodate all scheduled tours, our Museum Guides can wait no longer than 15 minutes for late arrivals. We understand that unforeseeable events may delay a group’s arrival and we will make every attempt to accommodate those arriving late, however, a late arrival greater than 15 minutes may result in the loss of the scheduled guided tour.
Do you offer refunds or cancellations?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or cancellations. If you have booked a group visit and need to reschedule for another date or add any additional tickets please contact us as soon as possible so that we may accommodate you.
Can I add tickets to my order on the day of the visit?
Group discounts are available only on tickets purchased in advance of the group’s arrival. You may purchase additional tickets on the day of your visit at the Admissions Desk, however, tickets are subject to availability and will cost the full general admission rate.
